Jackson Rowe, a Vancouver based Fashion brand was one of our first clients. We started working with the team way back in Spring 2014 and have enjoyed helping the brand develop and grow across multiple mediums.

Originally, we were contracted to work on graphic design but after working with the brand for a year or two we noticed the brands web store was in need of a revamp so we migrated the site from wordpress and woocommerce to Shopify and haven’t looked back since! Jackson Rowe uses an external warehouse to pick & pack orders so we also integrated the store with the Blastramp order management system so that all online orders are automatically processed and shipped without the need for any additional steps.

Since migrating to Shopify we updated the design of the web store each year to keep things looking fresh and new, often using an external theme pre-set with custom modifications. The benefit of using an external theme with customizations is that it is a quick and more economical way of regularly changing the appearance of the site without having to spend too much time designing something from scratch which isn’t always in a clients budget or timescale. We also managed the day to day running of the site, uploading products and changing homepage imagery as well as providing on-going email support for any problems that arise.

Jackson Rowe also asked us to design and implement newsletter marketing campaigns, we used Omnisend to create and send these newsletters to the customer list collected and integrated within the e-commerce store.

The e-commerce management has since been passed over to the JR team – another reason we use Shopify is because for day to day use (order management etc) it is very user friendly, regardless of technical expertise, so, if you do want to eventually manage the backend yourself then it’s possible!

Outside of the website we also recently helped work on a clean new re-brand for the company – logo, wordmark, colour palette, all soft and hard tags and packaging for the product. For SS19 we developed a range of patterns and illustrations for their digital print scarves.
